John started working for Magneto around his late teen years. His family threw him out after he nearly killed them when his powers manifested. It didn’t matter; he ended up killing them anyway. He worked for Magneot and had a grand time destroying people while getting paid. Later on, after fighting with Apocalypse, he fell in love with Wanda and ever since, he’s been trying to make her his fiance. one of these days.

When Wanda left the Brotherhood and SHIELD, John followed. He didn’t think he would work for and with the X-Men, but whatever his love wants, she gets. Plus, it’s fun teaching children the art of writing.
