Perfect Doppelganger: can transform into an ideal persona of another being, gaining the original's powers, capabilities, memories, life force, and personality. To achieve this ability to shape shit on such stuff, she must touch the person she is becoming the counterpart of.

Power Negation: Unlike Rogue, Lyla doesn’t suck the life force from the people she touches. Instead, if they have powers, she can cancel out the powers of others and/or their effects, making them unable to utilize their abilities as long as they are under the user's focus.

Regenerative Healing Factor: She can rapidly heal and get restored to their optimal and complete health/state quickly. Can recreate lost or damaged tissues, organs, and limbs. Because of her regenerative healing, Lyla has retarded aging, which allows her to age much slower than others.

At a young age, Lyla was a free spirit. Irene and Raven told her to do one thing she did the opposite. Like Rogue, Irene kept her in the house. One thing about being a shapeshifter, Lyla could go and be whomever she wished without too much backlash. In her late teens, Lyla began to use her abilities for the mutant underground. Using her combat skills and other things to help build a business for her services. A little too good, but money is money. Seeing her eldest sister fight the monster as she rose, Lyla decided to pack up her secret life and join the side of the angels.

Helping build Rogue’s reputation amongst her old friends, Lyla realizes her past will soon catch up with her. What better way than hide in plain sight? Get immunity for being deputized, and no one can touch her. so she thinks.
